We're writing with an update to the HootSuite dashboard – this time we have a collection of tools to streamline the way you schedule updates, select profiles and broadcast messages to your audience.

Social Media Scheduling:

Campaigns can get complicated when planning multiple updates with specific times, dates and messages. Now, HootSuite adds convenience to your social scheduling with an editorial calendar view allowing everyone – from agencies to rock bands – to organize updates in advance.

HootSuite was the first social media tool to offer message scheduling and this evolution replaces the "Pending Streams" view allowing you to see the big picture quickly. Pro andEnterprise customers can increase details by choosing daily, weekly or monthly views plus edit schedules by dragging and dropping messages into set time slots. When agendas change, just click to copyedit in-line and easily move the message to another timeslot.

Profile Picker:

Selecting profiles is also tuned-up with a fresh way for choosing which networks to update. Simply start typing in the profile picker text field to auto-complete with your preferred profile – then select one, several or all networks as desired. A true time saver for customers with dozens of profiles.

All profiles are not created equal so build a bundle with a Favorites list to be ready for mass-broadcast at the click of a button. Especially handy for sorting updates by appropriate audience or messaging topic ~ More.

Limited Accounts:

For corporate teams, security is critical to prevent abuse and gaffes which can damage brand sentiment. With this in mind, we've added Limited Permissions to the HootSuitesecurity toolkit along with Secure Profiles, HTTPS, and malware prevention.

This feature is the latest Enterprise Security feature and enables designated team members – including interns, contractors or junior employees – to share search streams and compose draft messages, but not to publish. Instead, messages are held in the scheduling calendar until approved by an authorized teammate ~ More.
