Twitter Forces Promoted Tweets to the Top of Your Timeline
Twitter just announced that it will start showing promoted tweets from the brands users follow at the top of users' timelines. They're rolling out the service with partners like Groupon, HBO, LivingSocial, Microsoft XBox, Gatorade, Dell and Red Bull.
