The Search Monitor Adds Twitter Monitoring, Selected by LinkShare as its Preferred Vendor

The new Twitter compliance reports enable affiliate marketers to monitor affiliate promotions on social media. Key features include: Tweet ID, Date/Time stamp, detection of affiliate network, affiliate ID, and merchant. Merchants can use the new Twitter integration to monitor affiliates for compliance with the terms and conditions of affiliate programs, keep tabs on authorized or unauthorized promotions and hashtags, and run comparison reports to benchmark affiliate social mentions versus its competitors.

Twitter monitoring is important because affiliate use of social media is growing. Affiliates tweet an average of 120,000 times per week, based on data collected by The Search Monitor.
