Free Mentoring for Small Businesses Bidding on Government Contracts
Nearly half of small businesses that contract with government agencies exceed $1 million in revenue versus only 5% of their non-contracting peers. For novices or those looking to diversify their government contracting options, American Express OPEN is offering free mentoring as part of its Victory in Procurement (VIP) program

VIP participants will receive 12 hours of one-on-one virtual communications with a government contracting experts. They'll learn about GSA schedule, business certifications, teaming arrangements, and the importance of networking. To apply, fill out the VIP Mentorship Application, and email it to VIPMentorship@mbooth.com. Applications are due by May 1, 2012.
