Uberflip’s latest infographic provides insightful facts and figures about the growth of video, its consumption on mobile devices, as well as what these numbers represent for marketers.
Video is becoming a hot social media trend for 2013. Vine, the Twitter-owned app, debuted in January to much excitement and was soon followed by Facebook’s release of a similar video recording feature on its iOS app.
“Visual content is a proven tool for marketers,” explains Neil Bhapkar, Director of Marketing at Uberflip. “No longer does video just entail creating a 30 second branded spot or a 15 second pre-roll. Instead, marketers also need a video strategy that covers mobile, social media, and any new platforms that emerge.”
