SEO Is Not Spam - Finally Says Google

Matt, however, did speak about the unethical SEOs in the market, as in the black hat SEOs that are spamming the web. But SEO as a whole is not spam, and there are plenty of professional search marketers out there that work withing the set lines, and do not spam.
However, reactions have started coming in on the video and the focus is what was missing from Matt's video- that is any word on social, link or places spamming. Some search professionals have declared this video an attempt to convince online businesses, that their sites will not be penalized for hiring SEO services. This skepticism of SEOs towards Google is continuing ever since Google switched toencrypted search for signed in users. This move by the search engine was met with a huge uproarfrom SEOs the world over.
