PackFlash, developer of superior modules for the DotNetNuke CMS (Web Content Management System), has extended its social media functionality for Facebook and Twitter to the latest version of PackFlash Video Module 3.1. The PackFlash Video Gallery Module for DotNetNuke has the ability to schedule social network updates at the same time as the videos are published on the website. Like all PackFlash products, the Video module is available for purchase on the DotNetNuke App Store by visiting thePackFlash Video Module product page.

Twitter tweets and Facebook updates can be posted via advanced social media functionality offered by thePackFlash Video Player and Gallery Module version 3.1. When videos are added and scheduled to be published to a website, social media are made automatically. Videos can be scheduled for publication on the website immediately or at a future date and time, and the social media updates will be synchronized to the same publication time, ensuring that an audience is notified at just the right moment. This functionality helps marketing professionals by eliminating the extra work and confusion of publishing data between multiple systems and connecting to social media. Content creators always have full control over the exact message that will be posted to the social channels so that messaging can be tailored for each social media platform and made more conversational if desired, much like if it was done manually.

PackFlash’s Facebook integration technology will include the default image, title and description of the video link that is being referenced. This approach makes the post appear to have been entered manually, increasing the social engagement and the chances of a post getting “Liked” or shared.

"Bringing the Facebook and Twitter integration to our Video product is a natural next step in the evolution for the Constellation Product Suite. The ability to schedule social media at the time that content is created without needing to interact with another application saves quite a bit of time in the publication process,” according to Chris Risner, CEO of PackFlash.

Other improvements to the Video Module for version 3.1 include enhanced filtering options for dynamically displaying content, additional tab options for display, as well as improved landing page capabilities. These updates have occurred across all modules in the Constellation suite.

The PackFlash Video Module is part of the Constellation Module suite for the DotNetNuke CMS. Constellation is a combination of eight core modules that are fully integrated with each other. No other module suite in the DotNetNuke (DNN) market offers this kind of integration. The modules include News & Blogs, Image Gallery, Slideshow, Friendly URLs, Mega Drop-Down Menu, Comments, Videos and Events.
