SIGNARAMA Royersford Wraps Firetruck in Pink for Cancer Awareness

To promote cancer awareness and their recent partnership with a group called Community Service Fighting Cancer, the Phoenixville Fire Department’s 65-1 engine was wrapped in bright pink vinyl, Phoenixville firefighter Andy Klotzbach said Thursday.
The vinyl coloring was applied Tuesday by the staff from SIGNARAMA in Royersford. Residents are “encouraged to sign the fire truck for a donation that will go toward cancer awareness right here in Phoenixville,” Klotzbach stated.
SIGNARAMA Royersford donated all of their labor and half of the material costs. The entire project was completed just in time for the big Dogwood Festival in Phoenixville. The firetruck sat at the event each night, and made such an impact on the community, and collected several donations. That type of generosity and giving has happened everywhere the pink fire truck has gone.
