What Does It Mean to Be a Champion?
Jugnoo partners with Lennox Lewis and The Remix Project – to ask this question of everyday champions.
Lennox Lewis - “What does it mean to be a champion?”
Toronto, ON July 31, 2012
Beginning today, a partnership between The Lennox Lewis Foundation, The Remix Project, and Jugnoo, seeks to answer the question “What does it mean to be a champion?” and shine the light on everyday heroes.
Being a champion isn’t necessarily about winning the game, the tournament, or a medal at the Olympics. There are everyday champions out there, all over the world, setting – and achieving – goals in their personal lives; being an active member of their community, helping others succeed, and/or overcoming adversity.
The Lennox Lewis Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and their families; The Remix Project, an organization that assists disadvantaged young adults entering creative fields; and Jugnoo, a social CRM company, have formed a collaboration to help amplify the message they each want to share.
“I'm very happy and excited to partner with Jugnoo and The Remix Project on this program that helps people recognize the inner champion within themselves. No matter who you are or what you do, it's likely that a champion resides within. We want the kids to understand that whether it's doing well in school, helping your family or community out, or making it through some very difficult situation in life, these are all the qualities of a champion. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all of the submissions and what they come up with.” Lennox Lewis
